Hi. I'm wondering what is the best way to get to Hollywood Studios from the Polynesian Hotel. We will have our car, but wanted the quickest way possible. Thanks in advance!

Hey Howdy Hey Kelly and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort holds a special place in my heart! So close to Magic Kingdom, the food offerings there are amazing with our favorite spot at 'Ohana and of course one of the few places you can get a Dole whip outside of the parks at Pineapple Lani! I am so excited for you to have this opportunity, but let's go over how to get to Hollywood Studios!

From the Polynesian Resort to Hollywood Studios, looks like you would have two options, your car or Disney Resort Transportation. With Disney Resort Transporation, you would have to catch a bus to get you to and from. The only reason I would say your car might be the fastest way to get to and from is due to the stops the bus may have to take. Sometimes with Disney Resort Transportation, the bus may stop at a neighboring resort, like Disney's Contemporary or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, before heading out to Hollywood Studios. That time might be precious if you are thinking of getting to the parks for the park open and hustling to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Personally, I would prefer Disney Resort Transporation as it may take the headache out of navigating traffic yourself and shorter walk times as you will not have to walk that far in the parking lots. Disney Resort Transporation begins operations 45 minutes before the parks open so this should be plenty of time to get in line for the park open if you are planning to.

There is so much to see in Hollywood Studios from Star Wars: Galaxies Edge to everything about Toy Story Land, you will truly have a lot to do! I would highly recommend some of the unique eats such as the Blue Milk in Batuu, (that's right, I am team Blue milk!) as well as the Raspberry Lunch Box Tart at Woody's Lunch Box. These are some quick treats you can only get in Hollywood Studios and are some of my family's favorites!

Best wishes for the final DAYS of preparation as your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth is coming in hot! If you have any other questions your newfound 'Ohana here at planDisney will be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
