Welcome aboard, John!
There’s nothing like a Disney Cruise Line vacation! I can’t wait for your family to experience all the
Halloween fun planned for your cruise. You will likely see an assortment of spooktacular activities, movies, and character greetings offered throughout your voyage.
Before you
zip up your suitcases, I’d make sure to pack a sweatshirt or two. In October, the average temperature in St. John’s, New Brunswick, is between 57 and 37 degrees. It can feel colder when you’re out at sea. This summer in Alaska, I found a nice selection of cold-weather gear in the gift shops.
John, I’m happy to share that this voyage is polar plunge free. You might see the lifeguards bundled up, but I promise the water is heated. While my husband and son splashed around, I enjoyed the hot tub. You’ll find towels and cozy fleece blankets on the pool deck to help you warm up after your dip in the pool.
If you’re looking for an activity inside, I recommend the Midship Detective Agency. This self-guided game is a great way to explore the ship and work together as a family. Your mission will take you all over, exploring different interactive artwork with a special badge to help solve a crime. It’s self-paced, so don’t worry; you can still enjoy a ride on the
AquaDuck, towel off, and pick up right where you left off.
I hope you have the best time ever making magical memories with your family! If you have any other questions, please visit planDisney again.
SEAS the adventure!
