Hi, I'm wondering what advice anyone can give about booking breakfasts - do you need to? We're staying at the WDW Dolphin and love the sound of Garden Grove, but only seem to be able to reserve for dinner on the days we're there! Are we just out of luck?

Hi Salim! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love helping guests plan their vacations!

I always advise guests that if you want to have a sit down meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) it is best that you make advanced dining reservations. These reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance of your stay. If at first you don’t succeed…try, try again! There have been plenty of times that I really wanted to dine at a specific location but I couldn’t secure an advanced dining reservation. I would keep checking every once in a while and sometimes I would actually be able to eventually get one! People’s plans often change and they will cancel a reservation which leaves a spot open for another family.

If for some reason you are not able to get the advanced dining reservation that you really want, such as the Garden Grove for breakfast, you always have the option to walk up to the restaurant and speak with the cast member at the podium. They may be able to accommodate your party though you may have to wait a little bit for a table.

I hope that you are able to experience Garden Grove for breakfast! It really is a delightful time!
