Greetings, Kathryn, welcome to planDisney and hello from Mickey Mouse & Friends!
Kathryn, Walt Disney World Resort strives to afford all Guests an inclusive visit by offering the carefully compiled
Services for Guests with Disabilities resource to enhance your visit. As well, in consideration of your precious daughter, please refer to
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities for accommodations specific to your daughter’s needs for touring the theme parks. You are also welcome to use your valid disability parking permit to park in designated accessible
parking spots throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
A service that may be beneficial could be Disney’s
Disability Access Service (DAS) - an accommodation for Guests who experience challenges because of their disability waiting in attraction queues for long periods of time. There are two methods of registration - in advance of your visit from 2 days up to 30 days before your arrival with DAS Advance virtual visit, or, during your arrival at Guest Relations
inside any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. For either of the two consultations, please ensure that your daughter is present for a friendly greet with the Cast Member and that your
Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience is up to date.
Kathryn, to make sure that your daughter enjoys many experiences please take a look through
Disney's Planning for Children resource offering tips and advice for enjoying many age-specific events and activities. As well, the
planDisney Video Library offers handy clips filled with sound tips and advice to help you prepare for your visit.
Please keep a close watch over
Walt Disney World Resort's Special Offers, which can be found on disneyworld.disney.go.com under the “Places to Stay” tab to build a vacation package in the comfort and convenience of a Disney Resort Hotel accessible Guest Room.
I hope this information is helpful, Kathryn and I wish you the most magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort - thank you!
~ Jacqueline
