I'm winding down to my final decisions w/ only 22 days! Question-Sanaa at 5:00 or 6:30? We're late eaters normally, but wouldn't want to miss the animals. Also, we're on dining plan, but can't pass up this naan sampler, they'll just add that charge, right?

    Jambo, Jessica!

Sanaa is an absolute gem of a dining experience - one of my favorites! And you're so right about the Indian Style Bread Service (which has recently seen an upgrade in choices!), it's amazing. You will be able to add this option even though you are on the Disney Dining Plan, you will just pay for the difference out-of-pocket, or, out-of-MagicBand :)

With regard to your time selection, I would stick with the time that best suits your family's normal dining pattern, and plan for animal viewing pre-dinner. My family likes to arrive about 30-45 minutes prior to our reservation to enjoy the grounds of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village and the stories of Cast Members stationed at the Savanna Overlook, located right outside the lower lobby level near Sanaa - your pager will work at the Overlook should you decide to enjoy your wait outside. The animals should also be pretty active at this time due to feedings. In my opinion, you might be rushed if you dine at 5:00pm to get out there while it's still relatively light. And I know you will want to enjoy this unique dining opportunity. You could always go back out after dinner to see the what it's like at night with the fire pit ablaze.

I hope this helps, Jessica! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help you plan out a magical vacation.
