Hello! I’m 35 weeks pregnant and we are planning to go to Disney this weekend. I was wondering what rides I would be able to ride? Thank you.

Hi, Bryan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel - and congratulations on your new little Mouseketeer!

Living in Florida makes it easy to visit the Walt Disney World Resort just about anytime we want. And since it doesn't involve boarding an airplane, expectant moms can still join in the fun, too! I went to the Most Magical Place on Earth a couple of times while pregnant, so I'm happy to help you have a ton of fun and still take it easy on yourself in the Theme Parks.

As a mom-to-be, you'll mostly want to avoid attractions that have really big drops, go really fast, or basically toss you about. If you check the Attractions page on the Walt Disney World website, you can filter by "Expectant Mothers Advisory" in the Accessibility & Advisories tab for a list of all attractions that are not recommended for pregnant women.

To see the attractions you can ride, go to the Height tab and filter by "Any Height." These are the gentler attractions that all Guests can enjoy (including infants, so you'll know what to ride when you come back with baby in tow!).

Bryan, be sure to stay hydrated and take rest breaks when you need them. And don't hesitate to drop in on the Baby Care Centers in each Park if you just need a cool place to sit and put your feet up for a while.

I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, Bryan. All the best to you and your family, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
