Hi! I'm a WDW veteran but have always visited in non-peak times. I've seen a lot of yummy holiday treats, and wonder how long into January they are available. I am planning a trip for two adults in mid- to late-January. Thank you!

    Hi Kirsten,

Oh those holiday treats are mouth watering!  The holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are incredibly special.  The Christmas season at Disney fascinates me, and it's my favorite time of year to enjoy the theme parks as they are "dressed up" to celebrate the holidays.

If you want to catch all of the beautiful decorations and sample the yummy treats, you may want to consider moving up your trip.  Typically, decorations and all traces of the holidays are removed a couple of days after New Year's Day.  Aiming for the very beginning of January would be best in order to have a chance to experience the Christmas magic.

I hope this helps, Kirsten.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.  Have a pixie dusted day!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
