Hi Angela!
You’ve picked a fantastic time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort! My family often plans our vacations for the week after Thanksgiving because we think it’s an excellent time to visit the "Most Magical Place on Earth."
While crowd levels can always change, in my experience, I've found that the Sunday and Monday after Thanksgiving can still be busy with holiday crowds, but the crowd levels tend to slow down on Tuesday and remain pretty manageable for the rest of the week. My family generally plans to enjoy our Disney Resort hotel on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, so I think your itinerary is setting you up for an enjoyable week as that will be your arrival day. Keep in mind that the Sunday after Thanksgiving is a really busy travel day, so leave yourself plenty of transportation time as you travel to start your trip!
Angela, the weather in Orlando in December can range from very warm to pretty chilly. I recommend that you either bring warm sweatshirts or jackets with you for layering or plan to purchase some during your trip as souvenEARs.
Come back to see us as you continue planning your magical vacation if we can help you again! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
