Hello Robert! Thank you for visiting us again at planDisney as you make your arrangements to visit the
Disneyland Resort. Let me be the first to welcome you to your future vacation in my home state!
I enjoy visiting the Walt Disney World Resort as often as I can, but the Disneyland Resort is where I would call myself a "pro". I've heard a visit between Disneyland Park and Magic Kingdom Park when you know the layout of one so well described as if you've entered your home but someone has rearranged all of the furniture (and changed the size of the castle). You may feel that way in Disneyland! Things will seem familiar, yet different, but altogether charming and magical.
I think that your planning is off to a great start, Robert. Three days at the Disneyland Resort is exactly what I suggest for first-time Guests. I recommend devoting one entire day each at both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park and then utilizing your final day at the Resort to revisit your favorite rides, shows, and attractions with a park hopper ticket. If you'd prefer to stick to one park per day, I'd suggest two days at Disneyland Park.
If you are a fan of snacks, be sure to swing by Bengal Barbecue at Disneyland Park for a savory skewer in Adventureland. I also love the Matterhorn Macaroon sold at Jolly Holiday Bakery for a sweet treat. Both of these items are unique to the Disneyland Resort and are delicious.
Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth and please visit us again if you have any more questions to ask!
California awaits!
Adrianna
