Hello, I'm going to WDW Orlando in April. How can I know what day, in what park, are the extra magic hours? I would like to plan our visites knowing the schedule of the magic hours. We are staying in the all star movie hotel.

    Hi Karine,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that you are planning with Extra Magic Hours in mind!

From the Walt Disney World website, click on the menu tab that is currently towards the top of the screen and that says "Parks and Tickets." From that tab, you should see a link for "Park Hours." Once you click on that link, just use the calendar feature to find your dates. Underneath the hours for each park, you should see an indication if the park has Extra Magic Hours and it will note the time of those hours.

When planning around Extra Magic Hours, we do not always go to the park that has Extra Magic Hours. Since my girls are older, we prefer the Extra Magic Hours that are later in the evening. We actually avoid the parks with early morning Extra Magic Hours because we like to do pre-park opening dining reservations when there are not early morning Extra Magic Hours. We dine and then go get in a standby line for a ride before the crowds get too intense.

Karine, be sure that you have created a My Disney Experience account and, if possible, have downloaded the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Both of these tools make our time in the parks so much easier to manage. We use the Mobile App to make additional Fast Pass+ selections in the park, "Get Directions" and check ride wait times!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
