I'm going to WDW with a 10 and a 7 y old in Sept '13 and I'm trying to find the best pools at a Moderate or Value resort. I like the look of the pools at the Animation Resort. Do any of them have a water slide? Or which M or V resorts have the best slides?

    Hi Beverly,

If water slides are important to your family, you're going to want to book your room at a Disney moderate resort.  The value resorts have delightful whimsical pools but they do not have water slides.

If your kids are thrill-seeking swimmers, book your room at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.  The Dig Site Pool has a really fun slide.  If they'd like to play amidst a wider range of water features, Disney's Port Orleans Resort Riverside is a fabulous option.  The Ol' Man Island pool and water play area there is a favorite among kids the same age as your children.  If your kids want to slide down a serpent's tongue into the pool, then Disney's Port Orleans Resort French Quarter is the place for you.  (This slide is slower than the other two I've mentioned.)

Let us know if you need any additional information to help you decide on a Disney resort.  I just love questions about Disney's many amazing resorts.
