I'm going to WDW Nov. 9th-16th. I've been trying to make dining reservations and the restaurants have almost no slots available, yet the week before (Jersey week) has tons of slots open. Is this just a fluke or is something going on I don't know of?

    Hi Abigail!
There is nothing specific that I can find that would explain your difficulty with Advanced Dining Reservations other than unfortunate coincidence. The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is the main thing going on during those dates.
It is becoming more and more difficult to find truly "slow" periods at Walt Disney World anymore.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!! :)
