I'm going to WDW Feb 19-26 and booked in at Disney's Carribean Beach in a standard room. Can someone please tell me which island/area of the resort you suggest I stay in? I'm traveling with 2 kids ages 6 & 12 and 2 adults. Thank you.

Hello Bradley.  Not long now until your Walt Disney World vacation-you must be getting excited!  Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort  is a wonderful, island-themed, moderate resort located in the Epcot area.  I've stayed there with my family and it has a relaxing, laid-back vibe.  If you are looking for a room that will be central to everything the resort offers, and since you aren't booked in a preferred room, I would suggest Aruba, buildings 44-46 or Jamaica, buildings 51-53.  We stayed in Jamaica 51 and found it to be a fairly quick walk to the larger themed pool and Old Port Royale.  You can make these requests when you do your online check-in up to 60 days prior to your arrival - and for you that time is now!   Just sign into  your account at My Disney Experience, and enter your reservation details if they aren't there already.  While nothing is guaranteed, I find they really do their best to honour at least one of your requests.

Wishing you a very magical vacation!  Have a great day and please come back to the Moms Panel if you think of any more questions.
