Hi, Im going to WDW with my extended family and staying at the Swan Hotel. Can my brother in law use an extra MagicBand that my husband has? (for some reason we have a lot of extras from past visits to the park)

    Hi, Vivianne!

So happy to have you visit with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Currently, MagicBands cannot be transferred to another person once it has been activated. Each MagicBand store unique information for each guest and that information must remain linked that the original owner.

Your brother-in-law would need to purchase a MagicBand from the shopDisney website or Shop Disney mobile app. Also, an admission card can be picked up at Guest Relations/Ticket Window once you arrive at your first theme park for him to use during your stay. The Cast Member at the window will be sure to link his admission card to his My Disney Experience account.

Vivianne, thanks so much for your questions. If you have more questions, stop by and visit with us again!

I hope that you enjoy your stay at the Swan Hotel. Disney's Boardwalk area is my absolute favorite area to people and boat watch!
