Salut, Carrie!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've stopped by with your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! You'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth this fall. The countdown is on! Carrie, you've come to the right place. Here at planDisney, we're happy to help prepare you for your Walt Disney World Resort holiday!
You'll be visiting during one of the most
delicious times of the year - the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! This year's festival runs from July 27 to November 18, 2023, and features fantastic flavors from around the globe. Carrie, it sounds like you may have received a Disney Dining Promo Card as part of a special offer or package. I'm happy to inform you that, if your promo card is still valid, you should be able to use it to make purchases at the
Global Marketplaces around World Showcase! In my experience, I've received Disney Dining Promo Cards digitally via email at the start of my Walt Disney World Resort vacations. They function much like
Disney Gift Cards but are only valid on food and beverage purchases from select locations.
Before your holiday, I encourage you to check out the
Disney Eats Foodie Guide on the
Disney Parks Blog to map out your "must-eats," Carrie! While the menus haven't been announced quite yet, I expect we'll see more details released very soon as the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival draws near. Last year, my favorite dish was the delectable "Le Cellier" Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon offered in the Canada Pavilion. While the festivals usually offer exciting new tastes each year, it's likely that some fan-favorites will return!
Carrie, if you received a Disney Dining Promo Card during a previous visit and want to know whether it will still be valid for your upcoming visit, I recommend referring to the card for its expiration date and information on how to check its balance. I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you a magical and memorable trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have additional planning questions, please feel free to revisit us here at
planDisney again anytime. If I've misunderstood your question or you have follow-up questions, you may also
reach out to me directly and I'd be happy to help out.
Cheers,
Lauren
