I'm going to WDW in December, and my son's 8th birthday is on the 28th, but e are not planning to be in a park on that day, because of the crowds. Our first park will be MK on the 17th, Does he get a birthday button even if it is not his exacte birth day?

    Hi Debora,

A trip to Walt Disney World is the perfect way to celebrate your son's birthday! Your family will have this special memory long after the trip is over. I have to say, you'll be so happy that you decided to celebrate this milestone a bit ahead of his actual birthday. The week between Christmas and New Year's can be exciting because there is so much going on in the parks, but it can also be very crowded and a bit overwhelming.

You can absolutely get a birthday button for your son to wear during the entire vacation! If you are a resort guest, ask for one at the front desk, they often have them there. If not, you can pick one up at guest relations in any of the the resort parks.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
