I'm going to WDW in Dec. w/ my 3 kids all under age 6. I have rented a double stroller from an outside company, but I'm worried about taking that stroller on the disney transportation. We're staying at the contemporary but will be going to all 4 parks.

    Hi Kim,

No worries - with a little planning you'll soon learn to navigate Disney with a double stroller like a pro.  You will not have to fold the stroller on the monorails or the large ferry that runs between the Magic Kingdom & the Transportation & Ticket Center so that one is easy.  Since you're staying at the Contemporary, you'll be able to walk or take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.  You'll also be able to take the monorail from the Contemporary to the Transportation & Ticket Center where you can transfer to the Epcot monorail line.

When traveling by Disney bus or smaller water crafts, you will have to fold the stroller prior to boarding. Since it won't be the stroller you use on a daily basis, practice folding and familiarize yourself with its features before heading out.  Keep that in mind when you're packing the stroller for the day so it can be easily folded without everything falling out.  Think ahead about how you'll do this when the time comes - who will be in charge of the stroller and who will be in charge of the kids.

With a plan of action, things will go more smoothly for you. Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
