I'm going to WDW in 2017 & buying the dining plan. My son has sensory processing disorder & is extremely picky eater. Do I have to buy a meal plan for him? if I do, will I have to use his credits if he doesn't eat/order?

    Hello, Courtney!

I often travel with another family who has Mouseketeers that are picky eaters. They can usually find something on the menu that they will eat, even if it means just ordering chicken plain or a side of mac & cheese. Keep in mind that when you purchase a Disney dining plan as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, you must include all Guests staying in your resort room. Therefore, your son will have Disney dining plan credits to use just like others in your party. You are welcome to bring in favorite foods for your Mouseketeer and in most cases, you may not have to use credits. However, you may find you will need to redeem credits at character dining experiences like Cinderella's Royal Table or Chef Mickey's as well as dinner shows like Mickey's Backyard BBQ

I hope this helps, and you can find yummy dishes for your selective eater to try during your visit! Please let me know if I can answer other questions you may have!
