I'm wanting to visit the last week in May out 1st. Week in June. Do you know which one would be better and would the 50th anniversary started yet?

    Welcome to planDisney Staci!

It’s so nice to hEAR from you today. I’ll be happy to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I just love that feeling of excitement I get every time I think about booking, or actually book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My Mouseketeers also get so giddy any time they see me on the official Disney website. They are always peeking over my shoulder trying to pick out which Disney Resort hotel they want to stay at and what attractions they want to enjoy, when we get there. It’s just an overall fun experience that begins the moment we start planning.

As of now, there has not been any updates on what the 50th anniversary celebration will look like. I’m so excited to hEAR all about it too! Since you are looking to book around the time of the celebration, I recommend following the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information. The Disney Parks Blog is where announcements about the celebration will be made. I did just read about the Walt Disney World Resort license plates in honor of the 50th anniversary and at the end of the blog post, it says “We are busy planning our 50th anniversary celebration and will share more details in the months to come.” So hopefully we will all hEAR something very soon about this exciting celebration!

I can’t wait to hEAR all about your trip, Staci. Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with as you plan for this momentous occasion!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Texas

Hi! I'm Shantel from Arizona. I am a mom of two and a military wife. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey-shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for and I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical! Learn More About Shantel
