I'm wanting to spend the day at Magic Kingdom, leave for dinner & then come back for the show at night. Is this possible? I'm bring my step-son who will be 14 & then my son that is 3 & I don't want them to miss anything big.

    Howdy Amber!

Welcome to planDisney!  Thank you for sharing this great question with us!

I love to enjoy the day at the theme parks and take some time out of the day to relax and visit a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel for a yummy table service!  The relaxing ride to the resort hotel, enjoying a dining experience, and relaxing on the way back to the theme park always recharges me for all the nighttime fun!  You will be able to exit the theme park and enjoy some time outside of the theme park and return later, Hakuna Matata, No Worries!  At this time, we do not know when the nighttime spectaculars will return to the Walt Disney World Resort.  I recommend checking the Disney Parks Blog regularly to stay informed of everything scheduled to return in the months to come!

Your vacation sounds amazing!  I know it will be packed with “Memories to Last a Lifetime!”  I am sure you want to capture all of your memories to bring home and cherish forever!  I recommend adding Memory Maker to your vacation. Since you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with your son and your stepson, Memory Maker is the best way to take photos with your Mouseketeers!  I know my kiddos are not always interested in taking pictures, but they love the Disney PhotoPass Photographers!  The mini photo sessions with the Disney PhotoPass Photographers are always fun for everyone!  Take a moment to ask the photographer if they offer Magic Shots!  In each Magic Shot, you never know who will pop up!  With Memory Maker, all photos with the Disney PhotoPass Photographers, specific attraction photos, and so much more will be downloaded to the photo section on your My Disney Experience!

Since Mickey opened the Walt Disney World Resort doors in October of 1971, this year will mark 50 years of “Making Dreams Come True” at the Walt Disney World Resort!  You will be visiting just in time to enjoy all of the festivities!  To stay informed of all the announcements as they are released, go to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Sign Up!”

If you have any more questions, please come back to planDisney, Amber!  We are always here to help you with your planning questions to make your vacation unforgettable!

    See Ya Real Soon,
