I’m wanting to plan a Disney World trip for my family (2 adults and 2 adult kids 23 and 25). Do you have any recommendations for hotels/activities? Our budget isn’t too strict and we’re thinking late July (6-7 days in the parks). Thank you for your help!

How ya doin' Esther and welcome to planDisney!

Esther, you're in for the time of your life. My favorite trip to the Walt Disney World Resort to this day was the one I took as an adult with my mother. We had a ball to beat Cinderella's and since we're both adults, the magic didn't wear off at midnight! You've asked for options and your Fairy Godmother, Taylor, is locked and loaded and ready to spread pixie dust all over this place!

When you're just a kid, your hotel is usually just somewhere that mom makes you close your eyes for naps even though you're way too excited to sleep. As an adult, it can be an oasis of peace in the middle of an action-packed vacation itinerary. Choose a Disney Resorts Collection hotel that's going to maximize your relaxation. Disney's Riviera Resort is a great location to get away from it all and relax on the southern European coast...of Disney. Marble and gold accents and a lobby that smells AMAZING drape you in luxury from the moment you step into those doors. And a room with a Preferred View is going to have you looking out onto an elegant grassy courtyard and a stunning lake view. Plus the food is top-notch. Whether you're choosing a Quick-Service meal at Primo Piatto or a Table- Service experience up on top of the world at Topolino's Terrace your tastebuds will never be less than pleasantly tickled.

Now you can throw a rock and hit a million activities at the Walt Disney World Resort. I'd definitely recommend you check out the Enchanting Extras Collection. Get into the SPIRIT of your trip at the La Cava Experience at La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion of the World Showcase in EPCOT. Book a Specialty Cruise to watch either Harmonious in EPCOT or Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park from the vantage point of a boat on the water. Perhaps even some horseback riding over at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. The possibilities are endless!

Pro-tip: No matter what you decide to do, please don't forget to book Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System in addition to your Tickets for every day you plan to enter the Disney Parks. Check that Availability Calendar and then purchase your way into a fabulous time!

Esther, I hope I've been able to give you a few ideas to make your family vacation extra special.

    Happy planning!
