    I’m wanting to book a special activity for my parents as a big thank you to them. I looked at the champagne boat ride at Disney springs this is closed for refurbishment, anything else you can recommend? We are staying in July at the Caribbean beach resort.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am excited to see that you want to book a special activity for your parents - it is always nice to add a little extra something to an already wonderful holiday at Walt Disney World.  I hope you will be enjoying this treat too!  As you were considering a boat trip at Disney Springs, you might like to know there are many other Specialty Cruises available to book, around the whole of the Walt Disney World Resort.   A really lovely way to enjoy the Magic Kingdom Park nighttime fireworks display (my favourite!) - Happily Ever After - is by taking the Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise.   You'll board one of Disney's iconic ferryboats to set sail on Seven Seas Lagoon.  During your cruise you'll be offered delicious dessert treats and drinks and you will have a spectacular view of the fireworks from onboard the ferryboat.  I think this would be a wonderful, and very special way to say thank you to your parents.   Reservations are recommended, and can be made online.  At this time the schedule is available for select days (usually Friday and Sunday) so please keep checking the calendar for your chosen July date to become available.
