I'm going to Walt Disney world next November. I'm torn between staying at the Caribbean beach resort or the little mermaid resort. Which do you prefer. It's my first time to Walt Disneyworld

    Hi Belinda!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Art of Animation Resort are both fabulous resorts, but given the choice, I'd pick Art of Animation.

I stayed in The  Little Mermaid section last week.  My favorite part about this resort is how it's themed after Disney movies.  There is no shortage of detail and is really lovely just walking around and exploring.  The Big Blue Pool is perfect for all ages with a zero entry section as well as a sprayground for little ones.  You can participate in a drawing class that is provided certain days of the week.  Pick up an activities guide at the front desk to see what is going on during your visit.

Caribbean Beach Resort is also beautiful and has a lovely walk by the water.  The Fuento del Morro Pool is fantastic in case your family is interested in swimming during your visit.  This resort has a nightly campfire where you can roast marshmallows.

My suggestion is to take a look at each resort with your family and decide together which one you would like to visit.  They are completely different and unique in their own way.

    Have a magical day!
