Hi Tracey,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!
I think that the time frame that you are considering heading to Walt Disney World is a great one. My family often vacations that week! The weather tends to be nice - not as hot as the peak of summer, but still warm. Generally, I find that Walt Disney World the first week of November has lower to moderate crowds. Of course, there are always other guests at Walt Disney World, but compared to other times of year such as Spring Break or over the summer when many children are out of school, it tends to be a less busy time of year. You may find that over the weekend more guests arrive to participate in the
Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, which is November 2nd through the 5th this year; however, I have usually found this to be a fun event to be around and the impact on me as a guest not running has been minimal.
If you do head down for the first week of November, be sure to check out the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This festival adds to the fun at Epcot, with international food kiosks, culinary demonstrations, special concerts, and much more. It is one of my favorite festivals of the year at Walt Disney World!
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Tracey. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
