Hi , I’m going to Walt Disney world and I want to go to the Magic Kingdom on 28th & 29th July. Will the new electrical evening parade be showing these two nights?

Hi Emma and welcome back to planDisney.

Your trip to Walt Disney World is so close - you'll be walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. before you know it!

Oh my goodness, I am SO excited to see the brand-new Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade when my family visit Walt Disney World in just a couple of weeks.

I have been longing for a nighttime parade to return to Magic Kingdom since the Main Street Electrical Parade was retired from Walt Disney World back in 2016 and, from the tidbits I have seen, this looks like it'll be nothing short of amazing. I am going to have to try so hard to avoid seeing any spoilers once Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away debuts on 20th July 2025.

I have just had a quick look at the Walt Disney World website and am very happy to tell you that Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is currently scheduled to take place at 9pm & 11pm on both 28th and 29th July 2025.

Top Tip - If you don't have small children in your travel party, I would imagine that the 11pm showing will be somewhat less crowded than the earlier performance. Either way, this new nighttime parade is sure to be super popular so I would definitely recommend that you start looking for a good place to watch from, around an hour prior to its start-time.

I hope that this has answered your question, Emma. Please do feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
