I'm waiting for the Princess Breakfast availability on Apr 6 or 7. These dates were showing up as blue squares on the reservation page, but now show crossed out and unavailable. Is this because there will be no breakfast or because all seats are taken?

    Hi Aditi,

Thanks for visiting planDisney! I'm happy to help with tips and tricks to help you nab a reservation.

Dining reservations can usually be made about 60 days in advance, and sometimes as early as 6 AM. The blue squares indicate days when the Princess Breakfast is available. The Princess Breakfast is very popular, and reservations get picked up quickly, so it’s very likely that others have already booked their spots. I know that might be disappointing news, but don’t let that discourage you, Aditi!

Keep checking for reservations, as people may change their plans and a spot could open up. The Princess Breakfast also offers same-day reservations on a limited basis (subject to availability). So, head down early to see if you can make a walk-up reservation. Breakfast is served from Thursday through Monday, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Normally, the Disney Princess Breakfast happens at Napa Rose, but renovations are currently taking place across the Grand Californian, so the breakfast has temporarily moved to the Trillium Ballroom in the Grand Californian.

Aditi, I hope this information is helpful. If you want to secure a guaranteed breakfast, I recommend checking out Goofy’s Kitchen (Disneyland Hotel), Storytellers (the Grand Californian), and Plaza Inn (Disneyland). If you have any other questions or need help planning other aspects of your trip, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.

    Wishing you luck!
