I love it when a fellow
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder stops by with a question. Part of the “AP” experience is to collect as many free magnets as possible. Let’s be honest, the designs are irresistible—and did I mention, they’re free?
At the time of answering your question, there hasn’t been an announcement for the next Annual Passholder magnet. But I recommend that you check out the
WDW Annual Passholders Instagram page or the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news. For the past couple of years, late January/early February seem to be good bets for when the first magnet of the year appears. However, the release schedule could be totally different for 2026.
As you may have seen, there are times when the Annual Passholder magnets make a comeback. So, if you miss one, there’s a chance to grab one later. At the end of last year, the retired Hei Hei, Timon and Puumba, and Stitch magnets became a bundle ready to collect by Annual Passholders again. There is still a beloved Crush magnet that I never got my fins on, but I guess that there’s hope!
AN EXTRA GEM: Be on the lookout for Annual Passholder-exclusive merch during festivals and events throughout the year. Many are for purchase only, but it’s cool to own a piece of history and have a memento of your adventures. One of my most recent favorites is an AP-exclusive
Disney Starlight parade pin adorned with the Blue Fairy and Mickey Mouse. Just holding it makes the memories of seeing the parade for the first time with my boys flood back.
