    I'm visiting WDW for the first time in September and want to propose to my girlfriend. She is a massive Disney fan and has been twice before. I want to make this trip one she won't forget by asking her to marry me. Can you help with ideas? thanks :-)

    Hi Craig:

    Sounds like you are looking for some proposal ideas at Disney World.  Great idea to get engaged at one of your girlfriend's favorite spots and the happiest place on earth. 

    For some traditional ideas, check out the Disney Parks Blog Top Ten Nine Proposal Ideas at Disney.  Characters in Flight gets my vote from that list.

    Here are some more non-traditional ideas:
    • Have a favorite song? Visit the piano show at Jellyrolls on Disney's BoardWalk and plan a musical proposal. Contact a manager at (407) 560-8770 who can help "orchestrate" your idea.
    • Have a favorite ride? Then propose on your favorite ride. I'm a huge Pirates of the Caribbean fan. Consider making appointments at the Pirate's League, dressing up as a Pirate, and popping the question.
    • Have a favorite Epcot country? Think about asking the big question at your favorite country in Epcot's World Showcase. Dress up for the proposal with clothes and accessories from the country sold at the gift shops located at each country.
    If you need help executing any of your ideas, I would contact the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts. The Dream Makers can do just about anything and can help add some extra magic to your proposal.   Another idea is checking out giftsofalifetime.com. They are pricey, but specialize in arranging special surprises and proposals in the parks.
