I'm visiting Walt Disney World this coming December. As far as ride intensity goes, I and the other member of my party are fine on Soarin. Intensity wise, how comparable to Soarin is Avatar Flight of Passage?

    Welcome to planDisney Justin!

Hopefully you have an entire day planned at Disney's Animal Kingdom as there is so much to see and do. Not to mention all the great dining locations!

Pandora - The World of Avatar is completely immersive. From the floating mountains in the Valley of Mo'ara to the bioluminescent lights that glow in the evening, you will be amazed by this fantastic land. Flight of Passage is the star of the show in Pandora. You will be flying on your own "banshee" on this 3D ride. It is definitely more intense than Soarin', so guests who get motion sickness or have a fear of heights should probably pass. That said, it is quite possibly the most amazing attraction in all of Walt Disney World!

For a tamer experience, enjoy a boat ride on the Na'vi River Journey. This is a family friendly attraction for all to enjoy.

While in Pandora, stop by Sa'tuli Canteen for a bite to eat. Try the cheeseburger pods. They look a bit different, but boy are they delicious! The rice bowls are also so good, try one with chicken and the herb sauce. OK, now I'm officially hungry!

As they say in Pandora:  SIVAKO - Rise to the Challenge! Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
