I'm visiting from the UK in July 2015, for my 21st birthday. do i need to carry my passport around the parks with me in order to buy alcohol or will photocopies be ok alongside my UK provisional/driving license? Thank you!

Hello Lauren and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a great question.
I'm so excited to know you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this coming July as part of your 21st birthday celebrations; I'm sure it's going to be quite the jolly holiday!
By law in the state of Florida you must be aged 21 years or older to purchase and consume alcohol; by my own past experiences you most likely will be required to prove your age should you wish to consume an adult beverage whilst on holiday.
You may find this link useful - International Travel ~ Frequently Asked Questions; which states when purchasing alcohol international Guests may be required to present their valid passport plus another form of Government issued photo ID such as a drivers licence.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your July 2015 holiday to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
    ~ Jane
