I’m visiting someone and I want to stay overnight however I’m not at one of the Disney resorts. Where can I park my car overnight paid or unpaid?

    Hi there Sandra!

Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you've already arrived in the Most Magical Place on Earth, so let's get going on your question!

To stay overnight in a hotel room, your friend must visit the front desk and add you to the reservation for the night. As a registered Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guest, you'll be entitled to complimentary standard parking at your resort and theme parks during your stay.

I hope everything works out for you, Sandra, and you have a wonderful time with your friend. Last fall, my sister was in Orlando for a conference while I was in Walt Disney World. When she had a night off from work, she stayed with me at Disney's Pop Century Resort, and we visited EPCOT together the following day. I spoke to a Cast Member at the front desk before she arrived. Since adding her to the reservation would be within the maximum occupancy in the room, it was okay to put her on the reservation for just the time she'd be with me. As a resort Guest, she could also take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry and pre-opening purchase of Individual Lightning Lanes.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your inquiry, Sandra. Please come see us again to chat about future trips, Florida resident specials, or anything else related to Disney vacation planning. We're all ears, and we love to help!

    Wishing you magic and memories,
