Hello there, John!
Did you know that you’ll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort when the grim, grinning ghosts start to come out and socialize? This is such a fun time of year to visit with
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by Corkcicle going on. Keep in mind that if your party wants to participate in Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, this is a special separate ticketed event.
John, it is no problem at all to have your mom join your advanced dining reservation as long as she is included in the total count of Guests on the reservation. Typically, Guests are not required to order something if they are not hungry at table service Restaurants. Please note that for buffets, family-style meals, character meals, or dinner shows, Guests will have to pay the full price for the meal even if they don’t eat anything.
Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera is a la carte at lunch and dinner, so you shouldn’t run into any issues at this location at that time. However, Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera has a Character breakfast in the morning that includes a choice of an entree for the same price, where your mother would be charged. Similarly, Roundup Rodeo BBQ has a set price per adult, no matter what anyone orders.
John, I’m not sure if your mom has any flexibility in her diet, but If you or anyone in your party has
four or more allergy-friendly requests, you can contact
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com 14 days prior to your arrival to make Special Dietary Requests. I’ve been so amazed by how accommodating they are. I hope this helps you have a practically perfect vacation!
May the magic be with you!
Melanie
