I'm visiting the park next week with a personas w disabilities how do I get her an Special pass

Hi, Daiana!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

As the parent of a child who has special needs, one of my favorite things about Walt Disney World Resort is the way that they go above and beyond to make the magic accessible to everyone.  There are many services and accommodations available for Guests with disabilities to help them have an enjoyable time in the theme parks.

One accommodation that is available is Disability Access Service (DAS).  DAS is intended for Guests who, due to a disability, cannot tolerate waiting in a traditional queue environment.  If you feel that the Guest you are visiting with might qualify for DAS, there are a couple of ways to go about registering.  If you would like to pre-register for DAS, this can be done via a live video chat with a Cast Member.  Please be aware that the video chat must take place 2-30 days prior to your theme park visit, and the person who requires DAS must be present during the video chat.  If you would prefer to wait until you arrive at one of the theme parks to register for DAS, you can stop by Guest Relations to do so.

In addition to the DAS pass, there are many accommodations that can be made to assist individuals with disabilities.  The accommodations that a person may qualify for depend on each Guest's unique needs.  When you speak with a Cast Member, either in person or on a video chat, about registering for DAS, they will determine if this service or some other type of accommodation would be the best fit for your group.

If you wish to discuss your specific situation and needs with a Disability Services Cast Member prior to your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, you can find their telephone and email contact information on this Services for Guests with Disabilities webpage.  I'm certain they will be able to help everyone in your party have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort.  In the meantime, if you have any additional questions that my fellow planDisney panelists and I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask.

    See ya real soon!
