I'm visiting with a large group in November, and one of my friends bought tickets via a 3rd party. Can they make park reservations using a will call voucher? I couldn't link the voucher to My Disney Experience either. So, what do I do?

Hey Howdy Hey Howard and welcome to planDisney!

Sounds like you are up for a great trip in November. Visiting Walt Disney World Resorts with friends and family is such a great way to enjoy the Magic of a Disney vacation on a whole new level. Thank you so much for your question about linking tickets from a third party, I am happy to help see what answers we can come up with. Let's jump in!

Buying theme park tickets from a third-party source is a great idea. In most cases, these tickets may be discounted based on the organization you are a member of or your workplace. The issue is right where you are, difficulty in linking your tickets to your My Disney Experience account. In most cases, once you buy from a third party, you may get two emails, one with a confirmation of the transaction as well as a confirmation with your Walt Disney World confirmation number in it. This second one is the one you are looking for. Make sure to check your friend's spam mail as these emails may tend to end up there.

If you all are continuing to have difficulty linking your tickets to your My Disney Experience account, I would reach out to the party you purchased your tickets through and ask them as well. They are more familiar with the email setups and confirmation numbers associated with their communications and they may be better equipped to guide you. You should be able to link your tickets in some way to your My Disney Experience account as you will need to do this to make your Theme Park Reservations. Will call tickets may require you to stop by a Guest Service center to activate your tickets so you can get into the parks, but you should still be able to have them linked for planning purposes.

The time of year of your trip couldn't have been planned better. There will be so much to experience as the resort as a whole will be dressed up in its holiday best for the celebration of the season. So many great offerings throughout the resort such as in EPCOT with EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. So many great food and drink offerings fit for the season and entertainment to get you into the holiday spirit. You can keep up online with all the festive celebrations as well as over at Disney Parks Blog to get all the details on the excitement that awaits!

Best of luck getting your tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account and I hope you all are having fun planning your trip! If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
