I'm visiting in Jan 2025 and want to use my own reusable cup to buy coffee within the parks. I would still pay the whole amount, and similar to how you can take your own cup to a Starbucks and they will make your drink in that for you. Is it possible?

    Hi there, Swany!

Welcome to planDisney! Here it's always a practically perfect time to discuss an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let's dive right in!

Like you, coffee is one of my top priorities during a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. When you're planning to make the most of every magical moment from rope drop to closing time, identifying sources of caffeine is of the utmost importance, am I right? My favorite spots are Cheshire Café in Magic Kingdom Park, Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Kat Saka's Kettle in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

While I completely understand the desire to enjoy your coffee in a sealable, insulated cup, Swany, unfortunately, Walt Disney World Resort's health and safety guidelines do not permit food and beverage locations to take Guest possessions (such as reusable cups) behind the counter or into the kitchen. While I understand that is likely not what you were hoping to hear, it is Walt Disney World's emphasis on Guest health that makes it a place where those who require specific dietary restrictions or accommodations feel safe returning to time and again.

Although food and beverage locations will be unable to prepare your beverage in your Resort Refillable Mug, you are more than welcome to transfer your prepared beverage into the mug yourself. If your desire to utilize a refillable mug stems from concern for the environment, you'll be happy to hear that Walt Disney World theme parks have recycling bins conveniently located near dining locations and beverage carts so that you can quickly dispose of the cup in an environmentally friendly way.

I hope this information is helpful, Swany, and that your upcoming visit is filled with magical memories made over delicious cups of coffee. If any additional questions arise as you continue to plan, feel free to stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
