Hi moms! I'm visiting with my husband and 8 year old the first week of march. I just booked the tickets and I am concerned we are traveling too early in the year. Can you give me advice on typical fl weather in march and possible parks to see march 3-9?

    Hi Robin!

March is one of my favorite months to visit Disney World and not just because my birthday is in March! Typically, the weather is warm and sunny during the day (mid 70's), and cooler in the evening (50's).  Packing during this time can be a little frustrating, but you should be safe if you include a little bit of everything.  Be sure to include an umbrella or a rain poncho because you never know with Florida weather when it might rain.  During this season, rain storms usually last less than an hour, so don't let the gray clouds scare you away.  Coming in early March is also a perfect time to come because you beat out most of the spring breakers that usually head down here towards the end of the month and into April.

Since you will be staying for 6 days, you will have plenty of time to see and do most everything at all of the Walt Disney World parks!  Are you staying at one of the Disney World Resorts?  Take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours and plan your days with the parks that are open the earliest and stay open the latest.  Make the most of your vacation and book reservations for special character dining by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  Chef Mickey's is my favorite to see and visit with Mickey Mouse himself!

    Have a magical vacation!
