    I’m visiting Epcot next week 37 years ago my wife and I honeymoon there and while we were at Epcot, we got a sidewalk portrait of us and it was wondering if artist are still there doing sidewalk portraits

    Hello, Robert, and a very special welcome to planDisney. 

    First, I want to wish you and your wife a VERY MAGICAL happy anniversary. With famous Disney couples like Rapunzel and Flynn, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and, of course, Mickey and Minnie, it sounds like you have a love story right out of a storybook, too! I'm so happy to hear you are returning for a celebration trip. My husband and I honeymooned at Walt Disney World 33 years ago. Ah, the memories! I completely appreciate your question. 

    I researched your question and believe you may be referring to silhouette artists. These are some of the most unique and treasured souvenirs. I contacted a Cast Member for you, and while I couldn't find a confirmed location for them in EPCOT, there are a few spots where you can find these artists in Magic Kingdom. One location is a sidewalk cart just off Main Street, U.S.A., in a quaint little side alley. The other is in Liberty Square, just outside Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. If you have trouble finding either location, feel free to ask a friendly Cast Member for assistance; they will be happy to help.

    While I couldn't confirm a location in EPCOT, you are welcome to ask a Cast Member when you arrive to see if there is a location I wasn't aware of. If this isn't the artist you were referring to, I still highly recommend the silhouette artists, and you can always explain, in more detail, to a Cast Member onsite to see if they can find what you were looking for. 

    I hope you'll have the most wonderful vacation in just a few short days. Please ask a Cast Member for a "Celebration Button." You can ask for buttons that will celebrate your 37 years, giving Cast Members and other Guests, like me, the opportunity to wish you well throughout your entire trip. 

    While visiting EPCOT, be sure to take the time to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival happening this weekend. You'll discover beautiful flowers, stunning topiaries, and some amazing fresh foods from the Outdoor Kitchens, available only during the festival. Although I can't direct you to a whole wedding cake, I highly recommend the Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake—it tastes as good as it looks!
