Hey there Wiley and welcome to planDisney!
I love being able to share my best tips and tricks with all of our planDisney after dark folks, who know how unique it is to experience the theme parks well after the day guests have exited and even past midnight! Having attended my share of
Disney After Hours events and parties over the past year, here's some of my personal experience and strategies that you might find useful:
- On the day of your visit, EPCOT will be closing to day guests at 9:00 P.M. and I highly recommend entering as early as possible at 7:00 P.M. if you want to experience any offerings or locations that will not be available during the hours of the event.
- Policies and operations are always subject to change without prior notice but at the current time, guests traveling from Remy's Ratatouille Adventure to Frozen Ever After will need to make their way around by passing the United Kingdom, Canada and Mexico Pavilions along the way. (Personally I think it would be great to be able to explore more of World Showcase late at night, but there's no telling whether this will ever change for Disney After Hours events at EPCOT in the future.)
Disney After Hours at EPCOT is also a great way to hop on some of the most popular rides that see some serious standby wait times during the day, and even potentially experience
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind several times throughout your evening. (Be prepared that it does remain quite popular even as it shifts to a standby queue, but this was one of the most worthwhile offerings ever!)
My biggest recommendation is making sure that you're aware of the
locations of each cart offering snacks and drinks included with your event ticket, in order to make the most of your time without having to backtrack from World Showcase. Come back to planDisney again soon Wiley, for any other bits of advice ahead of your visit coming up soon!
Here's to all of the awesome adventures you'll have after dark!
