Matterhorn Bobsleds are such an iconic attraction at the Disneyland Resort. To keep them looking and riding their best after being in service since 1959, periodically refurbishments need to take place. Currently this attraction is undergoing a refurbishment that is expected to last until fall of 2018. We still do not know an exact date for this attraction's return, but I would advise keeping an eye on the
Daily Events Schedule. As your trip approaches take a look at your exact dates to see if this attraction is still listed as undergoing refurbishment.
Even though this attraction is currently not in service, you can always still grab the second best Matterhorn on property by having a delicious Matterhorn Macaroon at the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. This sweet treat is almost as iconic as the attraction itself! I love grabbing one early in the morning when they are freshly baked and still warm.
