I’m visiting Disneyland in July 2025. Are there any official Scavenger Hunts going on?

    Hi Kristie,

Welcome to planDisney! Your Disneyland trip is just around the riverbend, and I couldn’t be more excited for you. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, there’s always something new and exciting to discover.

I love that the Disneyland Resort offers some seasonal scavenger hunts to enjoy throughout the year. Around springtime, there’s the Eggstravaganza, which has you hunting for decorative eggs around Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. Similarly, in the fall, there’s Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, where guests search for themed pumpkins across the park. These scavenger hunts come with a fun map of the locations and a collectible prize for participating.

During the summer months, while there isn’t an official scavenger hunt, you can still grab a Key to Disneyland! There are interactive portals spread across Disneyland Park that you can unlock using your key. Once you’ve unlocked all nine stations, return to the front of the park to reveal a secret pin inside your key! The best part? You don’t have to complete it all in one day; your key saves your progress, so make sure you also take time to enjoy the rides and entertainment along the way.

Speaking of food and entertainment, be sure to check out all the amazing experiences the Disneyland Resort has to offer for the 70th Anniversary of Disneyland. My fellow panelists and I had the chance to preview some of the entertainment, and it was incredible! You can even watch Q and Melissa trying out the Key to Disneyland. You can also check out our fellow panelist Cody chat with guests to hear their thoughts on the delicious food available for the celebration!

Kristie, I hope this information is helpful! If you have any other questions or need help planning other aspects of your trip, feel free to write back to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share more tips and ideas.

    Happy planning!
