Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is one of the best times to visit the parks. You'll see plenty of seasonal decor to set the mood, and there are always tasty themed treats, eats, and seasonal sips to tempt you. While you can currently see some picture-worthy choices
highlighted, like the Caramel Apple Cheesecake at Jolly Holiday Bakery and Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, as your visit approaches, keep your eye on
Disney Eats if you like to pick your poison apple choices ahead of time. Disney Eats is the official food and beverage news source for the parks, so it always has the yummy updates you crave.
Typically,
Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel offers a Halloween Character Dining Experience, which is definitely worth reserving if there's availability, which isn't guaranteed. Your dining reservation window often opens 60 days ahead of your park day, so set a reminder on your mobile device. However, with a special dining event, you might need to wait for its announcement! Character Dining Experiences always make for an extra special time, and Goofy's Kitchen is an iconic choice with plenty of tasty options for all preferences if you're not already full from all the treats from the parks! Plus, the Characters are in their adorable costumes, which makes for super fun photos as they come around to your table to interact. While I don't have access to Madame Leota's crystal ball, I'll keep my fingers crossed that this dining experience will make its spooky return.
You'll also find some of your favorite Characters in costume in the parks too! And they're not the only thing decked out for the season: Attraction overlays are my favorite part of a visit during pumpkin season.
Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park is my favorite overlay, but you'll find several transformations in Disney California Adventure Park as well.
You won't want to miss the
themed fireworks on select nights in Disneyland Park or activities like
Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit to round out a day of ghastly fun.
