Welcome back, G!
We love to see Guests return to planDisney for more helpful tips and tricks while planning their Disneyland Resort vacations. Taking a trip during
Halloween Time will be one for the books! With Halloween Time kicking off on August 22, you will get to experience the festive fall decor (give the big Mickey pumpkin on Main Street a wave for me!), seasonal treats, and special, limited-time entertainment. It's one of my favorite times of the year to be in the parks!
A time-honored Disneyland tradition is meeting with Mickey and his pals, and seeing them in their seasonal best makes for some unforgettable memories. Currently, it looks like Donald, Daisy, and friends will only be meeting with Guests in their Halloween costumes during the
Oogie Boogie Bash, as you suspected. Some good news, though, is that they will be decked in Halloween-hued outfits inspired by their 70th Anniversary looks on regular park days for
meet and greets in Town Square! I know this isn't quite the same, but I hope it gives your photos a bit of a Halloween touch! To find when and where your favorite friends might be meeting on a particular day, head into the Disneyland App and tap the pinpoint icon in the bottom of the navigation bar to pull up the park map. Scroll along the top to "Characters" and tap "Show List" in the bottom right-hand corner. Here, you can find a list of who is meeting that day and the times.
While not in costume, there are a few other seasonal offerings in and around the resort where you will find characters in fall-inspired looks.
Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian has a new offering this year—Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner, where you will dine on a buffet feast, enjoy tricks and treats, and meet with Clarabelle and friends. While the characters will rotate in and out, Daisy and Donald may make an appearance! Reservations for this experience open up on July 15th, in just a few days!
Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel will also be celebrating the season with characters in autumn attire. Reservations for this dining experience are already bookable. Finally, if you are looking for some Halloween entertainment, make time for the new
Mickey's Trick or Treat at California Adventure, where your favorite pals will host a costume party gone awry in this interactive show, sure to be frighteningly fun!
G, I hope this has been helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions or just need a friendly tip or two (or three!), we are always here for you at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
