I'm visiting DisneyLand on April 23rd, 2022. Will I need to show proof of negative Covid-19 test prior to my visit ??? If so, how many days before my visit should I have it.

    Hiya Erika!

I'm so glad you found us here at planDisney. We are always here, armed with answers and ready to help Guests plan the vacation of their dreams. I guess what I'm saying is.. you've come to the right place!

Your visit is just a few days away, so I'm glad you're finalizing some plans, so you can let loose and enjoy the magic all around you when you arrive at the Disneyland Resort! I have more news that may ease your mind about your visit. You do not need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or vaccination status at any time during your stay. However, it is highly recommended by both the Disneyland Resort and the State of California that you visit once you are either fully vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19. These health and safety measures are put in place to protect both Guests and Cast Members alike, so everyone will appreciate your diligence and precaution by testing or being vaccinated before your arrival. Many Guests choose to take a COVID-19 test before their trip. After all, we're all in this together!

Erika, your visit is beautifully timed, as the day before your arrival is a highly anticipated event at the Disneyland Resort. Nighttime Spectaculars are returning! And for the first time in forever, you'll be able to experience Disneyland Forever, World of Color and the Main Street Electrical Parade! I was listening to the newly released planDisney podcast episode today, where my fellow panelists share some great tips about parade viewing, so you may want to give it a listen before you find a cozy spot to watch these shows!

    Have a magical day, Erika!
