Hello, I’m visiting Disney 15th -29th August 2026 and staying at the Caribbean Resort. Please can I request a room in building 45. Kind regards, Jen.

    Hi, Jen! Welcome to planDisney.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a brilliant place to stay. I know you’re going to love it! I actually stayed there with my family last year, and we were in one of the newly refurbished Little Mermaid-themed rooms. My kids were over the moon about the décor (and honestly, I was pretty impressed myself). The whole resort has such a relaxed island vibe, it really does feel like a vacation within a vacation.

You can absolutely put in a preference for Building 45. Disney can never guarantee room locations, but they’ll do their best to honor your request when assigning your room. I recommend making the request when you check in online. You might also want to make your request by speaking to a Cast Member through the "Chat" feature on the Walt Disney World Resort website or the My Disney Experience app. Finally, it never hurts to mention it again at the Front Desk when you arrive.

Here’s a little tip: Building 45 is part of Jamaica, which means you’ll be just a short stroll away from the Disney Skyliner station. That’s a game-changer for quick access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Just be careful: once you’ve used Disney Skyliner, you might never want to go back to buses again (your feet will thank you after a long park day!).
