Cowabunga! Leanne, I'm so stoked you surfed by planDisney with this question about catching some waves and sunshine as your trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth begins. Your vacation is just around the riverbend, so let's get you ready to
gooooo!
With the
Water Park Benefit, you can
Hang 10 and wash away the travel fatigue when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. I checked the calendar for June 2, and both
Typhoon Lagoon and
Blizzard Beach will be open. As Ursula says, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?"
I had the chance a few weeks ago to learn from a Cast Member that the Water Park Benefit is good for both parks, even on the same day. There are a few practical considerations that may make the "time permitting" part of your question more challenging. If you use
Disney Resort Transportation, there is no direct bus route between the water parks. With a few exceptions, Blizzard Beach uses
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as the hub between Disney destinations. Buses to Typhoon Lagoon are based in
Disney Springs.
If you have a car, you can drive between the water parks. However, with their popularity, you may find that the park you are heading to has reached capacity. If the water park is full, you won't be allowed to enter, and if the park you left is also at capacity, you will have given up your space at that water park. So, while it can be done, you might have a better time if you
just keep swimming at one water park! Each has so much to do; I think you will find the time slips away quickly.
Leanne, I hope your trip is practically perfect in every
wave! If you have any other questions, please sail back by
planDisney.
Life is the Bubbles!
