I'm visiting Disney for the first time with my son for his 6th Birthday. I'm looking for help with rides, dinning and what should we do the first day we arrive? I have dinner reservations at T. rex. Thank you in advance

Hello Louvia and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I'm super excited to hEar you'll be celebrating your dear son's 6th birthday at Walt Disney World Resort and it certainly sounds like you've gotten the planning off to a roaring start with an already made Advanced Dining Reservation at the Jurassic dining spot of T-REX
My 1st tip would be to make sure the celebration is noted onto your Disney Resort reservation and upon arrival to collect a complimentary 'I'm celebrating' button from any Guest Relations; wearers of these cute buttons often get wished a happy birthday by Cast Members and friendly Guests alike!
Of course no birthday is complete without a yummy confection and there's plenty of Cakes at Walt Disney World Resort to choose from; cakes can be pre-ordered for delivery to most Table Service restaurants on Disney property.
I'd say to spend your 1st Disney day within the enchantment of the Magic Kingdom Park where there are so many magical Attractions for Guests under 48" tall to enjoy and you won't want to miss meeting favourite Disney characters either, also perhaps the birthday boy would love some swashbuckling fun aboard a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage where all jolly pirates meet Captain Hook & Mr Smee before setting sail on a special fireworks cruise.
