Im visiting AK in Feb. and I'm just curious if all the animals will be out and about or if it will be too cold? I have no idea what the weather will be the 1st week of Feb so I'm just hoping one of you wonderful people would know... Thanks so much =]

On one of December trips. Florida was experiencing unseasonably low temperatures.  In fact, it was so cold that heaters were placed around many plants to prevent freezing, and little signs sprung up noting that Jack Frost had treated some plants poorly in areas hit by frost.  During this time, there were some smaller animals in the park that were taken in during the evening, but overall we didn't notice any significant changes.

I think you will find that the weather will be very pleasant in February with the average daily temperature being about 62 degrees; the average rain fall is less than an inch during this month, too.   These temperatures shouldn't prevent you from seeing any of the animals.
