I'm going to visit Florida with my family in August. I'd like to spend one day at Disney, how many attractions could I experience? how many parks can we visit in a full day? thank you

Ciao Andrea, and welcome to planDisney!

It's always so nice to see our Italian friends travelling around Ferragosto to spend their holidays at Disney destinations around the world and I'm glad you're taking a day out of your trip to come visit Walt Disney World Resort! You'll be happy to hear that it's absolutely possible to visit all of the Theme Parks in one day, and we recently did it ourselves. I will caution you that this does require some good strategy and a plan going into it, so here are a few important things you need to make it happen:

    • When you're looking to visit as many Theme Parks  as you can and experience as many of the rides and attractions as possible in just one day, the most important thing is to make sure that you have the right Theme Park Tickets that will allow you to do that! Purchasing tickets with the Park Hopper option will allow you to be able to switch between them; at the current time you'll only be able to enter your second Theme Park after 2:00 p.m. so make sure you choose the first one that you visit wisely!
    • To experience as many attractions as possible, I recommend going in early and waiting for the official opening time or what seasoned guests call "rope drop" in order to maximize the amount of time that you'll have and possibly experience some of the shortest wait times in standby queues. It's important to have your family remember that if you want to visit all of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks in just about 12 hours, you'll really just want to prioritize 1-2 rides or attractions at each one in case you experience standby waits of an hour or more at some of them. This is one of the scenarios where taking advantage of Disney Genie+ service will be necessary for you to use the Lightning Lane entrances in order to avoid longer waits; if your family members have their heart set on some of the most popular attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or Avatar Flight of Passage, purchasing Individual Lightning Lane entrances à la carte may be a key choice to make!
Hope this was helpful Andrea, come back to planDisney again soon for more advice, tips and tricks that we're always happy to share ahead of your August adventuring!

Have a Fantastic trip next month and Buon Ferragosto!
