I’m going to visit family in Orlando and want to take a day trip as a dvc member can I park at a resort to eat and then go into Epcot or do I park at Epcot and is there a dicscounted cost

    Hello Dawn, welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days - how fantastic to combine a family visit plus time at the parks! Let's take a look at your question.

When Guests have a reservation for Table Service dining outside the theme parks, they receive 3 hours of complimentary parking. Longer-term resort parking is reserved for resort Guests so it's always good to think ahead about where you will be going next and where you will be parking your vehicle. When you arrive at the resort where you will be dining, you will need to show proof of your reservation at the security gate. Sometimes security will provide you with a paper pass to put on your windshield that notes the time you can park.

If you'd like to park at EPCOT and have an annual pass, you will receive complimentary standard self-parking. Unfortunately, complimentary parking is not currently a perk for Disney Vacation Club Members who are not staying onsite. Guests can purchase a $30 parking pass that is good for the entire day at all four theme parks. (price subject to change).

Tip:  Use the Car Locator feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app if driving a personal or rental vehicle on Walt Disney World Resort Property. The app lets you save your parked vehicle’s location and therefore save time when you exit the Park.

Dawn, I hope this information helps your planning. Thanks for visiting planDisney, please visit us again if you have any more questions!
