Hi Thanwalai,
Welcome to Florida! It’s so great to hear from you! It sounds like you’re ready to make some magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort. Thanks for stopping by planDisney so we can hopefully help walk you through the Florida Resident ticket requirements.
Thanwalai, in order to purchase and activate Florida Resident tickets, all Guests ages 18 and older must provide proof of Florida residency. Currently, the only forms of acceptable ID listed on the official Walt Disney World website are:
- Valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
- Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
- Valid Florida-based military ID
If you don’t have one of these IDs, you may still qualify by providing current proof of a residential Florida address. The acceptable documents are:
- Monthly mortgage statement
- Current utility bill (power, water, cable, internet, etc.)
- Current homeowner’s insurance policy or bill
- Current automobile registration, insurance policy, or bill
- Statement from a Florida financial institution
- Mail from a federal, state, county, or city government agency
To use one of these documents, you’ll need to visit
Guest Relations in person and present the document along with a valid, government-issued photo ID (like your passport). Unfortunately, DS-160 forms or general bank statements that do not include a Florida residential address would not meet the residency verification requirements.
I hope this helps answer your question as you prepare for a magical adventure! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have more questions. I’m always happy to help make your Disney dreams come true!
Wishing you pixie dust and Disneyfied core memories,
Emille
